Tad Welborn has invited us to his ranch in Springville for a drive in the country followed by a bar-b-que dinner.

Arrive in Porterville Friday night. Dinner at Don Vino’s restaurant.

Saturday Breakfast at Cow Punchers Cafe in Springville 9:00 AM. Then take a scenic drive ending with a French lunch at the Eden Cafe in Tulare.

After lunch return to Porterville or check out the charming town of Springville and tour Tad’s shop and farm before dinner.

Tad will grill some tri-tip and chicken and other surprises.

Dinner with sides and drinks, $35. Bring a bottle of wine.

He needs a head count by June 21.

There are several options for places to stay in Porterville. Holiday Inn Express, Best Western and America’s Best Value.
