Save the date for something extra special. Along with the normal club outings this year we have an opportunity to meet and give our thanks for the many tireless years that the professional mechanics have provided services to our community. Without them we would be at the mercy of our best reading of the maintenance manuals and Haynes books to try to make repairs and critical adjustments to cars that bare only a similarity to all others. Citroens are unique, and the owners are eclectic at best. We all enjoy our cars when they are operating like they should, and our mechanics have been there for us to make sure they do. This will culminate in a luncheon being given in their honor come June 1st. Three of the major Citroen Clubs in California will be gathering for a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and greet them as well as see some fine examples of Citroen cars. It will be a long drive for some and probably an overnight stay. There are many attractions in the Gold Country and those who come early, there will be plenty to do. The luncheon officially starts at 1:00pm, but early arrivals to secure parking and to see cars are encouraged.
