DESCRIPTION:May 29-31\, 2026\nHilton Scotts Valley\, Scotts Valley\, California \n\nPresented by The San Francisco Region Citroën Car Club\n\nWe have exhausted our allocation of reduced-rate rooms\, but the hotel has kindly offered to honour the discount beyond the initial room count. To receive this discount you must contact Sarah Skwarek <Sarah.Skwarek@Hilton.com> ON OR BEFORE MAY 8th. \nOur home base for the weekend will be the upscale\, full-service Hilton Scotts Valley\, a short drive from Santa Cruz on the coast and Silicon Valley inland.\n \nRooms include free WiFi and access to the on-site pool. Our group rate is $189/night ($217 with taxes) and they’ve agreed to offer that rate for 40 rooms. Tim has done this with other car clubs and has found that this is a great way of melting the ice and getting everyone introduced quickly.\n \nAt 7pm\, join us for Happy Hour in the bar and either dine at the hotel or go to local restaurants in the Scotts Valley/Santa Cruz region.\n \nOn SATURDAY morning\, grab breakfast at the hotel restaurant. At 9am we will depart to visit UCSC\, Davenport\, and meet up at Greyhound Rock parking area before driving as a group along the coast\, past the Santa Cruz Boardwalk\, ending in Capitola Village for a car show and a no-host lunch at one of the many wonderful restaurants on the Esplanade.\n \nAfter lunch we will head over to Lon Price’s shop for a Tech Session\, followed by a Swap Meet back at the hotel.\n \nAt 6pm we will enjoy cocktails in the hotel followed by a buffet dinner and entertainment from 7pm.\n \nOn SUNDAY morning\, on your way home\, take in a winery tour or visit the world-famous Canepa Museum located just five minutes from our hotel!

SUMMARY:Weekend Down on the Farm
DESCRIPTION:June 26 & 27\nTad Welborn has invited us to his ranch in Springville for a drive in the country followed by a bar-b-que dinner. \nArrive in Porterville Friday night. Dinner at Don Vino’s restaurant. \nSaturday Breakfast at Cow Punchers Cafe in Springville 9:00 AM. Then take a scenic drive ending with a French lunch at the Eden Cafe in Tulare. \nAfter lunch return to Porterville or check out the charming town of Springville and tour Tad’s shop and farm before dinner. \nTad will  grill some tri-tip and chicken and other surprises. \nDinner with sides and drinks\, $35.  Bring a bottle of wine. \nPlease RSVP to club@citroencarclub.us \nHe needs a head count by June 21. \nThere are several options for places to stay in Porterville.
